In March 2007 Christy A. was involved in acting  and singing a leading part in her High School musical production.  Three days before the 3 performances she developed viral laryngitis, with no audible voice at all.  Her doctor said it would take at least 2 to 6 weeks to regain vocal strength. 
     There was no replacement for the musical part, and Christy's dad perceived that God was "up to something" in this incident. He told her, "Either number 1 - God doesn't want you in this play for some reason, or number 2 - God wants to show His healing power.  We're gonna believe for God's healing power.  I'll pray for you a simple prayer, and we're going to believe that God will heal you."
     Christy said, "The next day my voice was not great, but I got through rehearsal, and it was an act of God!"  When performance time came her voice was fully restored, and she "felt fine."  Her colleagues and musical director were amazed that Christy's "every note was crystal clear".  Some even declared, "God is sooo awesome!"  To God be the glory!!
